Ar sut deire na h-oidhche do cheannuigh sé na bróga."
Explanation of above lines - Frosty weather in the early part of the night is often followed by a change - to rain, etc - before morning.
The morning is certain to be frosty if it does not commence to freeze till late the previous night.
