It is unlucky to get married in May and August.
They never got married on Monday and Friday long ago nor they did not go to their new houses on those days.
It is unlucky for two of the same family to get married the same day or the same year.
If a wedding (party) meets a funeral it is said that one of the party will die.
Long ago they used to give cattle for the fortune instead of money. The man used to go to the woman's house the night before they would get married. Next morning they would have Mass in the house. Then the two parties would be married in the house.
