- Lises are common in Tuosist but no one has an idea of when they were made or for what purpose. it is said that there used to be a ditch around them but the ground sank and the ditch fell in and closed the entrance. An old saying says that every three lisses are insight of each other which is true for there is one in Ardea in Patrick Sullivan's farm has full view of one in west Clonee while another in James O Shea's farm in east Clonee has full view of them both.
