    Smithwork
    The smith would make pikes, spades, [?] & gates. The coal was supplied by the customers.
    Weaving
    In the long wintery nights the people would weave thread & knit stockings for the household. The men sat nets & caught all kinds of fish. Both men and women worked very hard.
