Bíodh sé ag tabhairt dhá sgilling anois agus arís di cun í bhreabadh. Do bhúail sí breóithe. Cuireadh fios ar an sagart agus do tháinig sé. Bí píosa dhá sgilling aici agus thug sí den sagart é as a thrioblóide. Tháinig bean den na cómharsain isteach agus dubhairt an bhean breóite gur iongantach an rud é -
    "Fúaireas dá sgilling ó theactaire an díabhhal agus do táinig teactaire an díabhal agus do phriochadh sé úaim í. Sin mo sgéal agus má tá bréag ann bíodh
