    the dogs every night after they came in from the hunt. One night he was feeding them as usual. They turned on him and ate him. There was nothing left of him when the gentlemen came to look at the hounds, but his boots.
    At twelve o'clock every night, (The hounds were destroyed after the tragedy) the old people around used to hear the hounds yelping.
    If they looked out they could see the hounds running down to the fox covert with the huntsman in their midst.
    The Pilkingtons (Pinkelton) used to live in Kilglass, Moyvalley, Co Kildare.
