    In a field in KIlrainey there is a little hill called Ballycane Hill. On the top of this hill there is a fairy chair. It is said that the Fairy Queen used to sit on it while the fairies danced round her. On one side of this hill there is clay suitable for brickmaking. It is said that bricks used to be made here in the olden times.
