    roaching it he saw lights coming towards him. He them lost courage and fled.
    Another story I heard about Griffinrath is as follow:
    One dark night Patrick Dunn was coming home from work; he had to pass through the field in which the rath is situated. When he got to one side of the field he thought he heard singing coming from the rath. When he went over he thought he heard the singing behind him, and when he went back, the singing seemed to be coming from the place he had just left.
