    the horse and dog to the fair and she shout out "who will buy a horse for 5 shillings and a dog for twenty pounds. The two must be bought together" (The horse was worth about £30) She wasn't long getting a buyer and she had the twenty pounds for herself and his people only got five shillings.
    There was a man in Blackwood who could cure the wildfire.
    The cure he had was a drop of his own blood. He died from loss of blood because there were so many coming to him!
