- May DayOn the first day of May people decorate a bush with flowers and egg shells, because it is the first day of Summer. They paint the egg shells and they pick the flowers in the fields. Then they stick it up where everybody can see it.
- Christmas Eve.On Christmas Eve children hang up their stockings for Father Christmas to fill with toys. If Father Christmas does not fill the stockings it shows that they were not asleep when he came. So if we go asleep we will get our toys.Vera Spooner.
