    "Games I play"
    I play several games. Their names are: Dan, Dan, Tread the needle. The Grand old Duke of York. Ghost in the Garden. Hide and go seek. French tig. Frog in the pan. Farme wants a wife. Blind's man Buff. Leap Frog. Follow my mother to market. Colours. Musical arms. Musical chairs. Here we come gathering nuts in May. Ring a ring of roses. Jumping. Skipping. Hares and hounds. I crack nuts on November Hallow Eve. I gather blackberries in Autumn. Girls play different games than those practised by boys. Girls skip out of doors. Some children ask riddles round the fire at night.
