The Provision + Spirit Shop at the Milltown Canal bridge used to be known as " The Gaelic House"

The ruins of the mill buildings are situated on the southern bank of the Milltown Supply Canal a couple of hundred yards (w) from the Milltown/Kildare Road.
It was a corn-grinding mill and was owned by a local family named Kelly. it has not been used for about 50 years. Folklore - A Local Song
