  1. This is an existing enclosure in Keadue West, on the lands of Mr John Martin. Formerly straying cattle were here impounded and also animals seized for debt etc. The field is still known as "The Pound".
    In the same field, there is a "Giant's Grave".

  2. Lassar well was first on the top of the hill but, the Parson washed a dog in it. Then it dried up, and after some time it broke out at the bottom of the same hill.
    There are stones round the well. Some people leave medals and money on the stones for to get well
