  1. O'Carolan the last of the Irish bards died March 25, 1797. O'Carolan's wife was Mary McGuire from Tempo, Co Fermanagh.

    McDermott Roe the landlord for the Keadue district died in 171(?) aged 96 years.
    His daughter Mary McDermott Roe died on May 23, 1835 aged 76 years

    Before the Graveyards were joined to the Churches the people had no certain places for burial and when a person died all the neighbours brought a stone to cover the body and this is how the "Cairns" were formed.

    Mc Dermott Roe's son Charles is also buried in Kilronan cemetery.
