weeds are growing on the ridges they are pulled.
Some people when they have their own work done help others.
The potatoes are dug in Autumn. Children pick them. The big ones are put in a heap and the small ones are put in another heap. Sometimes the potatoes are heaped in the fields and sometimes they are kept in barns.
There are different sorts of potatoes such as "Champions" "Epicures" "Aran Banners" and "Scorch Greys".
Epicures grow best on our farm.
