    churches and he traces the dates of some of them back to the 9th and 10th Centuries!
    These are tobe found at Emblagh; Cloonkeen and Clooroe.
    The Canon has also found trace of a village — houses street and the Church which I mention at or near Clookeen. The old residents know of its existence and they have a peculiar name for it!
