- We have a churn, at home, it is of a barrel shape. it is made to revolve by turning a handle. On the cover, there is a glass window, through which, one can see, if the butter is made. On the top, there is an air valve, which when pressed, allows, the air inside the churn to escape. The cover is kept down by four screws, which keeps it, in its place, so that no cream, can be thrown out of the barrel, when it is motion.(continues on next page)
