    A mermaid is half a woman and half a fish. She has a fish body and a woman's head, and human tail. When a ship is passing, and if she comes up, from the bottom of the sea, and orders them to throw out a person to her, and if they do not, she will stuck her tail against the ship and overturns it. It is believed that she lives under the sum in a lovely palace.
