- There are five forges, in the Parish of Kiltulla, three of them are owned by people called Quins, and the others by Local men. The Quins have been smiths, for a long time, as the trade has been handed down from father to son. The forge is situated near, to the crossroads at Kiltulla, it is a small one, with a wooden roof, and a small rectangular door.
