    place, he had then seven miles of a lonely road to walk late at night. He trembled with fear of having to face the long journey but braved it and just as he was outside the town of Castlerea he heard footsteps behind him, he saw no-body but got great courage and as he was mid-way on his journey he again looked behind him and saw a white shadow which accompanied him to his home. This story was related to me by my father and was told to him by his father now dead who's name was:- Thomas Winston, Carrick, it has all the appearance of been really true and the Dean of the Parish at that time had the story related to him and he gave it credit and said it must have been your Gaurdian-Angel sent by God to guide and protect you on your long journey.
