  1. I live in the Townsland of Garryduff, in the Parish of Templeorum, and in the barony of Iverk. Garryduff comes from the Irish name garrdha dubh which means the black garden. There are eleven families in Garryduff three families have the surname Nolan, three Walsh, two Kenneally, one Cuddihy, one Bolger and one Malone. There are ruins of old houses in the Townsland. Garryduff is situated on the side of a hill.
