For peelers names I now disdain
For I have a stamp & double reinEdward Anderson a relative of Giles made poems also. He composed songs about many of the local happenings His best attempt was one praising Larry Connors who was at one time known to be the best long distance runner & walker in Ireland. Larry was a native of Lukeswell & a neighbour of Anderson.Note.
Nellie Hennebry also has in her collection a poem which appeared in "The Munster Express". This poem is one on the local Gaelic heroes & begins"Ye gallant Gaels of Ballyhale
