    For their protection a gallant slate-house built convenient to Baunabowl;

    I'll bid adieu to my to my friends and parents and seek my fate on some distant shore;
    It's in their abscence I'll be uneasy and still bewailing in sorrow mute,
    When I am roving in foreign nations far, far away from sweet Mancell's Court.
