    about the crock of gold he got. The priest who was in the parish at that time was Father Lyng he heard about it and he came to see it and he told him that had he gone to him at that time he would have made it right for him. The priest told him he had no right to touch it but had he had the holy water, or silver and put it in the crock it would have been pure gold.
    Thefore he lost his luck. It was enchanted gold and the barrel was there minding the gold until then.
