    To stop bleeding
    Certain people have special words to say. Other people put moss around the cut. More people cut a cobweb from the wall and roll it tightly around the cut.
    To stop bleeding noses
    Lie on your back or put something cold at the back of your neck and keep your head back
    Burns
    1 Castor oil, or
    2 lime water and sweet oil mixed together.
    Cure for sellings or broken bones
    Cumphery? and marsh mallows.
    Cure for pigs
    There is an herb called pig-root which is used to cure a disease in pigs called the "red soldier" or "swine fever".
