  1. Cures for Whooping Cough and Bronchitis
    Get a mare donkey and give her a piece of bread. Then bless yourself and put the child under the donkeys belly three times. Collect the crumbs of bread that fell out of the donkeys mouth, and bring them home and boil in new milk. Then give this to the child to drink.
    Marshmallow Leaves
    A remedy for Bronchitis and whooping cough. An ounce of the leaves in 1½ pints of water and boil down to a pint, half a wine glass should be taken three times a day. The leaves are also good for wounds, cuts, and boils.
    Marigold
    A remedy for measels 1 ounce in a pint of boiling water. A tablespoon to be taken
