  1. Buying was carried on after mass in the district and it is still practised. Goods were often exchanged by poor people who would not be able to pay money for them. Pedlars came around the district and come still. Once there was a cross old woman living in Mullinakill and a Pedlar came to her door and she said, "We dont want pints we dont want pots we don't want nothing and the pedlar said: What about a nice English Grammar.
