  1. Weeks before St. Stephen's day the young boys of this district hunt the wren. They meet at evening on Saturdays and Sundays until they get at least one wren. Then on Christmas day they get a long pole and dercorate it with holly and tie the wren on top of the pole. Early on St. Stephen's morning about twelve boys meet together each with a bundle of clothes. Those bundles consist of their mothers' blouses, sisters' petticoats, hats and veils. They dress themselves up and one acts the oinseach. The strongest boy has
