poor man passing by and he wrote under it.
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so will you be,
    Prepare yourself and follow me.
    answer.
"To follow you I'm not content,
For I don't know which way you went."
The next poem was written on a placard outside a public house and a man was passing along and he wrote under it.
"If you are dry come in and try
    the flavour of my honey,"
    answer.
"Oh, I am dry and cannot try
    the flavour of your honey,
For if I go in the old bee will sting,
    Because I have no money."
