  1. St. Leonard is the patron saint of Dunamaggin. St. Leonard's Well is situated in Patrick Walsh's field, and until recent years a pattern used be held there annually on the 6th November .
    The water of this well was thought to be good for sores and warts.
    Two fields away there is a mass bush called St. Leonard's Tree.
