    Another Cure for a Wart.
If people were going away from a house to another and they left washing soda after them in the house. If another person comes to live in that house after and had warts he should get the washing soda and rub it to the warts. After a while the warts will go away. The soda should be buried so that no one else would get warts.
A Cure for a Sore Throat
If a person gets a sore throat he should get salt and brown it on a pan over the fire. Then he should put the salt in an old stocking and wrap it round the throat. The salt should be heated now and again. The stocking should be left on the neck for a few days, and after a few days the sore throat will go away.
