    O Butlers castle my darling
    "Tis lonesome your looking to-day
    There's nothing but jackdaws and starlings
    Since poor Robert Dane went away.
    It is there where the garden and tennis
    And chimneys to keep the place hot.
    If you want to inquire the old people
    Will show the mark of the pot
    O' bad luck to you Oliver Cromwell
    And all your cantackerous men
    You came over there like a pirate
    With a cast-load of peelers to Glynn
    But the Tinnihinch boys kept possesion
    He bound them all down to to the place
