    dinner. Sfter dinner they had a card party and while playing a card fell. Sir John stooped to pick it up and in doing so he noticed that the stranger had a cloven foot. He attracted the attention of the other guests and after some time they sent for the minister.
    The minister strove for some hours to put the man out but did not succeed. He the proposed in sending for a priest. When the priest entered the room he left his gloves and other things in different parts of it.
