    The Diamond Field
    still owned by James Kiely gets its name from its Diamond shape
    (Note: Croppy killed in '98)
    The School Field
    So called because the present national School was built upon it (in 1834).
    The Well Field
    The well in this field is where Kielys get their water. Sometimes called Kiely's Well Field.

  2. The Paddock
    A large field owned by Martin Bridget. Surrounded by high stone walls. These walls were originally much higher - ten feet or more. The field was used as an enclosure for deer owned by the landlord of the time Flood of Viewmount, Paulstown.
    The Assk yeh
    A small narrow field running back from road on land owned by Pat. Carrol. The field though now well drained is still rushy and wet. Originally it must have been very boggfy earning the name "lasga" - a wet sedgy field Dinneen.
    The Cruckawns
    possibly na Crucáin. two or three small fields all of which are hilly
    Fye valley
    owned as above by M. Carrol Tradition says there was once a graveyard in this field but no sign of it now remains
