- There is one forge at the present time in Tullaroan. There were two forges about seventy years ago, one at Liss cross roads and the other in Knocknamuck belonging to Mr Cody.
Mr Cody used to make some implements and shoe horses. The forge was very black inside. He had only one fire.
The forge water is a cure for a sow with no suck for her young. A man used to go to the forge with a bottle, and go in. If he spoke a word the water would be no good.- Collector
