    used to come and spend the night sleeping in the glen because it was in such a sheltered hollow.
    Lios na gcoinín is a fort that was built by the Fir Bolg. The (-) that is in this fort was carried up in bags from Loch na Ribeóige. The bags were made of horse hair. Any man of the Fir Bolg that was late for his work were built into the fort. When they were finished the flung the bags into Loch na Ribeóioge and that is how it got its name.
