    "In my notes on the battle of the three Collas which occurred near Fincarn Co. Monaghan in A.D. 332 I promised to give an account of the giants' graves and of Manowar's grave. Well the giants' graves are in Lackofin in the centre of a field which adjoins the county road. They occupy a mound of considerable extent raised above the level of the surrounding ground, and marked off by foot and head stones of
