- One day St Patrick met a man named Art Kelly. They started a fight and St Patrick hit him and changed him into a black pig.
- When St Patrick came to Tyholland he had two goats, one for giving milk and another for carrying water on her horns. One night when St Patrick was asleep in a little house in the townland of Templetate his goats were stolen. Two neighbours came and stole the goats they killed and ate them. After these two men stole St Patrick's goats they never had any luck until the day they died.
