    and he was leaving the horseman behind, the horseman spurred on his animal and kept along with Brady and so they proceeded until they reached the town. The horseman then took Brady into a public-house and bought him a glass of whiskey remarking to him that he was the best footman he had ever met and that he had no intention of travelling his horse so fast but for the purpose of keeping in with him. Having been thus friendly treated Brady immediately proceeded on his journey.
