  1. When cows gather together under trees it is a sign of rain.
Other rain signs are: - when fowl pick at each other, when sheep feed early in the morning, when spiders creep from their cobwebs, when a person kills a spider, when the sun sets pale, when moon hides it's head in haloes, when rainbow shows itself early in the morning.
    "A rainbow at morning
    to the shepherds warning
    But a rainbow at night
    Is the shepherds delight"
When ditches smell, when walls are damp, when a dog eats grass, smoke ascending from a chimney in a crooked manner, a dark clouded sky, when certain birds are seen in the vicinity of your house.
Signs for fine weather: - a clear sky in the morning and a rainbow at night.
