The place where the sacred vessels rest is called The nuns Mound, It always remains green. - One time there lived in Kildare a man who was fond of money.
A friend came to home one night and told him that every night he heard the Leprahaun tackling his tiny shoes about 8:30 o'clock. One still night the moon shown forth in all its brilliancy and he made up his mind that he would go in search of the Leprahaun because he is the fairy who takes charge of the money.
The man went out and soon found the Leprahaun sitting in a shady corner, the man seized him and asked him where he kept the treasure. The Leprahaun said that the fairy beside him possessed it.
Immediately, the man took his eyes off him he was gone, and the man went home very sorrowful on account of his sad loss.- Collector
