Bless Palm is put hanging from the rafters on Palm Sunday.
The cattle and their sheds are Blessed with Easter water on Holy Saturday.

- If a swallow builds it nest in a cowhouse and if by chance the swallow is killed, or the nest be tampered with in any way the cow will milk blood, instead of milk. This happened in Connells about two years ago.
