The forge is Churchtown is on the side of the road and the next three are on or near cross-roads. The one in Rheban is near the canal also.
The forge in Rheban has a timber roof with a tarred felt. The door is shaped like a gate. There are two fireplaces, but only one is used. The bellows is made of skin. The smith uses a sledge, wrenches, tongs, hammer, anvil, vice and pincers.
He shoes horses, asses and wheels. He makes gates, bands for wheels, fittings for farm machinery and grubbers. He shoes the wheels out in the open, in front of the forge.
