SHOP FIELD: This is so called because years ago there was a shop in the corner of it.
EGAN'S FIELD: This is so called because a man named Egan owned it.
FERNY HILL: This is so called because there are ferns growing on it.
RUSHY MOORE: This is so called because there are rushes growing on it.
THE CAUSEWAY: This is so called because there is a tunnel underneath which leads from Sídhean to Reary more.
TOM DUNNE'S GARDEN: This is so called because a man named Tom Dunne owned it years ago.
THE WILD OATS: This is so called because wild oats used to grow in it years ago.
