HAIRY ACRE: This field is so called because the grass is like hair. There is one acre of land in it.
COSHEER: This field is so called because years ago it was a new meadow. Cosheer is an Irish word and it means new meadow.
TIERNEY'S FIELD: This field is so called because it was owned by a man named Tierney Rourke.He had an old hedge school in this field.
