    SLINGS:
    We get a strong fork stick. We tie a flat rubber to each side of the fork stick. The we get a piece of leather and tie it to the other two ends of the rubber. We throw stones from it.
    TURNIPS:
    Out of a small turnip we make a candlestick. We make the end of the turnip flat and bore a hole in the other end and stick the candle in the hole.
