  1. When a person dies his eyes are closed, and his hands are joined, and a Rosary beads is entwined through his hands. After that, he or she is washed nicely, and if a man, he is shaved. Then the habit is put on. The bed is made very neat, with nice white quilts, and the four corners of the bed, are tied with mourning ribbon. All through the day people call, and there is always somebody in the wake - room.
    When 2.30pm comes on the third day, the hearse comes and corpse, which has been already coffin, is lifted into the hearse. Then the offering takes place. At
