- The present school, Fox National School,(Cloch an tSionnaigh) is situated near the village of Clough, and was opened as a National School in September 1910.
From 1977 to 1910 portion of the Old Chapel in the graveyard of Clough was used as a national School. From 1910 this building has been used as a Parochial Hall.
Previous to 1877 the building now known as "Kelly's Barn" was used as a school. The walls of this building are still standing behind Kelly's house in the village of Clough. The length of this building is thirty feel and its breadth is fourteen feet. It is said that ninety pupils attended this school.- Collector
