    Ink is an old time remedy for ringworm.
    Old Mrs Walsh R.I.P. of Woodbrook cured ringworm with a blessed ring. Mrs Bennet, Derrycon R.I.P. cured wildfire and ringworm with a blessed ring.
    To cure Chilblains, bathe them in about two pints of water in which parsnips were boiled, to which is added one tablespoonful of Alum.
    Hot Fermentations for gumboils, boils etc.
    Use the water in which Camomile flowers, Poppyheads are stewed.
    Tradition has it that the refuse of flax known as "Borrack" and supposed to be the bed on which the Blessed Virgin rested in the grotto, is a cure for various diseases.
