  1. I. Building - There are certain 'runs' which the fairies take and it is not right to build on any of them. When the foundations of a new house has been dug the owner builds the four corners and leaves until morning. If all or any of the corners have been knocked the house is on forbidden ground. If this happens three times a new site is generally chosen.
    II. It is not right and brings bad luck if a room is built on west side of house. This pisreog is rigorously adhered to in my locality.
